Features

Everything MyReg CIRCÉ does.

The complete feature list, taken from the platform’s user manual. Features marked “module” depend on the modules enabled by your contract.

Reportings & perimeters

Load your regulatory reportings, organise them by perimeter, explore them template by template and compare them.

  • Regulatory perimeters

Organise your reportings by entity or consolidation level, with a preferred tolerance threshold suggested at every run.

  • Multi-format upload

Load XBRL-XML instances, XBRL-CSV packages, Excel workbooks in the EBA template layout and ZIP archives.

  • Checks on drop

Every file is checked as soon as it is added (format, size, duplicate), and the same file is never loaded twice into a perimeter.

  • Entry-point taxonomy

XBRL-CSV packages are read with the taxonomy version declared by their entry point, not inferred from their reference date.

  • Official or working version

Tell the official submission apart from test versions: runs offer only official reportings by default.

  • Processing tracking

Follow background extraction, read errors, fill in a missing reference date and reprocess a file in one click.

  • Filterable, shareable list

Filter by perimeter, date, nature, format or tag; filters stay in the page address so the view can be shared or bookmarked.

  • Automatic tags

After extraction, the platform adds tags derived from the file’s templates, such as the template group or the framework.

  • Template-by-template browsing

Open each template as a table, with nested headers, greyed-out cells, sheet selection and amounts in units, thousands or millions.

  • Data point detail

Display a cell’s reported value, its dimensions and the taxonomies in which it exists.

  • Unmatched data

Spot the data in a file that could not be matched to any taxonomy cell.

  • Excel data export

Export all the data of a reporting, or only the filtered data, with real numbers and real dates.

  • Reporting comparison

Compare two to four reportings of the same nature, with amount and percentage differences against a pivot file, then export the result to Excel.

  • Variance filters

Hide identical data or data missing from a file, and show only the variations above a chosen threshold.

  • RUBA reportings

Load, explore and compare side by side the reportings of the ACPR / Banque de France national taxonomy.

  • AnaCredit reportingsModule

Load AnaCredit files, view their T1 to T10 tables and build a summary together with its control results.

  • AnaCredit–FINREP reconciliationModule

Compare the AnaCredit summary with the FINREP report following the BCL methodology, with difference, DQI and threshold for each rule.

Custom controls

Write your own controls in a rich grammar, checked as you type and validated quarter by quarter.

  • Your own controls

Create controls with a reference, name, tags, description and a formula comparing reporting data.

  • Live checking

The formula is checked on every change, listing errors and candidate cells when a coordinate is ambiguous.

  • Threshold or exact match

Choose the base member for the relative difference and an exact comparison or one subject to a tolerance threshold.

  • Preconditions

Make a control apply only when a precondition formula holds, with its own base and match type.

  • Validity per quarter

Know, for each quarter end, whether every formula can be evaluated against the taxonomy then in force; statuses are recomputed every night.

  • Rich grammar

Combine arithmetic operators, comparisons, lists, logical operators and functions such as abs, min, max, sum, iif or filed.

  • Open-row tables

Apply a control to every reported row of an open table and aggregate them with sumtop or sumif.

  • Controls over time

Compare the same cell across two reporting dates with the [T], [T-1] or [T+n] annotations.

  • Additional dimensions

Target a broken-down cell, for instance by country, by stating its dimensions in the coordinate.

  • Control over missing values

Decide, coordinate by coordinate, whether a missing value counts as zero or must prevent evaluation.

  • Excel import and export

Import controls from an Excel template, with optional overwrite, and export them to a file that can be re-imported as is.

  • Control sheet

See the colour-coded formula, the cell behind each coordinate and the control plans that use the control.

ECB & EBA libraries

Use the controls published by the ECB and the EBA directly, ready to run on your reportings.

  • ECB EGDQ

Use the ECB data quality checks, automatically converted into executable sub-controls.

  • EBA validation rules

Run the EBA validation rules, converted the same way into the platform grammar.

  • EGDQ-XL in native DPM-XL

Run the EGDQ list published by the ECB in DPM-XL format exactly as published, without conversion.

  • Multi-criteria search

Filter the libraries by version, severity, publication status, templates, modules, tags and validity.

  • Transparent conversions

View, for each published rule, its original information and the sub-controls generated from it.

  • The right version for each reporting

An EGDQ control runs in the taxonomy version of the reporting being checked and is no longer applied after its applicability end date.

  • Library export

Export all or part of a library to Excel, with applicability dates, validity and, if needed, the sub-control details.

  • Your tags on published rules

Add your own tags to EGDQ and Validation Rules controls, one by one or by Excel import.

  • AnaCredit controlsModule

Browse and export the AnaCredit validation rules, with the tables, compared attributes and query of each control.

Analytical review

Track how stable your template breakdowns are from one quarter to the next and spot the breaks.

  • Breakdown definitions

Describe, for each template, the total rows and columns and their breakdown, with a validity range by taxonomy release.

  • MLA FINREP catalogue

Add the catalogue of 24 FINREP analytical controls designed by MLA in one click, choosing which existing controls to replace.

  • Configurable stability thresholds

Set, for each control, the number of quarters compared and the warning and failure thresholds.

  • Quarter-on-quarter review

Compare a reporting with the previous quarters of the same perimeter, choosing the version used for each quarter and the analysis window.

  • Stability measures and charts

Analyse cosine similarity, shares of total, standard deviation, z-score and point differences, with charts and reported values for each quarter.

  • Stability summary

Rank all the analytical controls of a reporting from least to most stable, with a status filter.

Control plans & thresholds

Group your controls, run them on your reportings and analyse fully traceable results.

  • Multi-library plans

Combine custom, EGDQ, Validation Rules and EGDQ-XL controls in a single reusable plan.

  • Plan import and export

Exchange your control plans and their control lists in Excel format.

  • Guided run

Pick the perimeter, threshold, reporting dates, period type and files, along with currency and business model.

  • Selection check

Before running, detect templates that are missing or duplicated across the selected files.

  • Real-time tracking

Follow the progress of running executions and find failed runs together with their error.

  • Latest-run summary

A card sums up statuses, controls not executed and changes since the previous run, for a given reference date.

  • Clear statuses

Each control is passed, passed with warning, failed, not applicable (false precondition or missing data) or impossible to evaluate.

  • Detailed audit trail

For every rule, view the values used per date, the calculation steps and how each coordinate was resolved.

  • Re-run in one click

Re-run a plan with the same files, dates and parameters, applying the current controls and thresholds.

  • Excel results export

Export a full run, or one filtered by status and type, with context, summary and detailed values per date.

  • Results by email

Receive the results file by email when the run completes.

  • Tolerance thresholds

Define relative, absolute or combined thresholds, with pass and warning values shown live on a diagram.

  • Results frozen for audit

Each result keeps the values of the threshold it used: editing a threshold never changes past results.

Indicators & dashboards

Track your indicators over time, review their movements and produce your reporting packs.

  • Custom indicators

Define ratios and amounts computed from your reportings, with the same grammar as controls and a validity status per quarter.

  • Excel import and export

Import and export your indicators and dashboards in Excel format.

  • EBA indicator catalogue

Browse the EBA risk indicator catalogue with formulas, data points and value ranges, and download the EBA workbook.

  • EBA indicators in one click

Add the ready-to-use list of EBA indicators the application can compute to your own indicators, then adapt them.

  • Multi-date dashboards

Group indicators to follow together and compute them over one or several reporting dates.

  • Trends and statistics

Read, for each indicator, values per date, absolute and relative changes, mean, extremes and standard deviation, with a band chart.

  • Review workflow

Give each result a validation status, a P0 to P3 priority, comments and tags.

  • Analysis filters and summary

Isolate increases, decreases and changes above a threshold, and view the summary by priority and status.

  • PowerPoint, Excel and print

Produce one slide per indicator, an Excel workbook with audit trail or a print-ready view, matching the filters applied.

  • Excel dashboard templates

Put indicator formulas into your own Excel workbooks and generate them on your reportings, keeping formatting and charts.

  • Built-in spreadsheet

Edit a template right in the browser: values, formulas, formatting, borders and number formats.

Produce the EBA Pillar 3 disclosure workbook (mapping tool 1.5, framework 4.2) and its 80 templates from your COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, MREL/TLAC and other reports.

  • No invented valuesModule

A cell that cannot be computed stays empty, with its cause: missing data, incomplete history, ambiguity, unsupported rule or calculation error.

  • Guided report selectionModule

A grid crosses report families with dates T to T-4, fills itself in and flags missing or duplicate reports.

  • Disclosure frequencyModule

Generate quarterly, half-yearly or yearly: the frequency sets the earlier dates read by the templates.

  • Regulatory averages and mediansModule

Twelve month-end averages (EU LIQ1) and four-quarter medians (EU AE1 to AE3) are computed automatically.

  • Cell-by-cell traceabilityModule

The P3 Issues, P3 Metadata and P3 Journal sheets give each cell its rule, resolved formula and source facts with their file.

  • Justified manual valuesModule

Complete qualitative and unmapped information, every value being logged with its justification and author.

  • Excel-like entryModule

Type straight into the template sheet, paste a block copied from Excel and display the mapping tool formulas.

  • Auditable overridesModule

Override a computed value knowingly: the original value, author, date and justification are all kept.

  • Shared draftsModule

Save the current selection to pick it up later or hand it over to a colleague.

  • History and regenerationModule

Find every generated workbook with its coverage, download it with or without control sheets and regenerate it with today’s data and rules.

  • How each value is computedModule

Explore each template coloured by cell status and read the rule, formula and source facts behind every value.

  • EBA Risk Dashboard KRIsModule

Compute 21 EBA key risk indicators from your reports and see where you stand against the European distribution (with the Public data module).
